Rolling at 8am from the gravel drive between Clanton Chevron and McKinnon Nissan.

This route has 7 different loops, one after the other, allowing you to get anywhere from 10 to 104 miles. This is the best route for rain as all the dirt roads east of 65 drain incredibly well due to the perfect mix of red clay and sand.

There are plenty of water spigots and store stops marked along the routes. Review them to plan your stops.

5/27 WEATHER UPDATE: Temp at 8am is 72, and up to 85 by 2pm. Steady 20% chance of rain all day, with some moderate intensity, IF it rains. I think this means summertime popup thunderstorms. Wind gusts at 9-15 all day with 3mph sustained. I’m riding unless we show up and it’s pouring and/or lightning. Will be there to check it out fo sho. Come along for the who knows what.
