Had a great time hanging out at the OGG with Stephen Peters and Seana Hogan yesterday. I bumped into a good sized group from Anniston and chatted it up with Chris Nall and Wesley Hodge for a bit.

I was planning to use this to test out my 24hr race planning before Chainbuster Racing‘s 24 Hrs of Iron Maiden next weekend. I had a lot of ideas, including getting as many laps in as I could, but fortunately, I got the best of both worlds. I got 3 good laps in before making time to just spend time with good friends.

Stephen Peters got on his ss Karate Monkey and we met up with BillyandKaren Beane to get a good ride in on Sylaward before dinner.

I think at the point we cooked over the fire at the gable, and had a couple beers with dinner, my riding was done. I didn’t know it at the time. I set my alarm clock for 2hrs, and woke up to sunrise. I was good to call it an adventure, and return to get more later. That really is a fast and fun course.

What a great weekend riding and spending time with friends.
