09/27/25 Sampson, Browntown, White City and Peach Cobbler

Nine of us rolled this 70mi route with great weather today. It was my first time riding it since June last year, and the dirt was perfect aside from graded spots here and there. We visited Sampson early on and D got to meet him and feed him.

The route offers a good bit of shade from trees on both sides with some wide-open spots where the views are beautiful. We kept up with each other pretty well and really enjoyed fellowship and taking in the natural beauty.

Suffering and climbing showed themselves here and there, but overall it was a pretty good day riding bikes on Chilton and Autauga County dirt roads.  Thanks everybody for riding with me!

Only Martha, D and I got the full experience, enjoying some cobbler and live music on the patio at Peach Park.
