Addressing comments this past week, there will always be conflicts. Some are inconsequential, such as a mountain bike race in GA and a road ride in AL. Some are consequential. The best advice I can offer, as you want a specific type of ride on a certain weekend each year, and so does someone else that will definitely draw from your participation, reach out. Coordinate next year to ensure that everyone can enjoy both.

I want to say a little extra about three of the events added.
The World Gravel Time Trial Championship at Odlfield Green Gables is the real deal. Seana and Stephen have put together an amazing venue for cycling events with The Sylaward Trails at Lake Howard and Talladega National Forest easy access. The 24 hour race starts on Friday, and the 12 and 6 hour races will start on Saturday, so don’t let the date fool you. Even if you don’t race, come hang out and have a good time and support this new venue!
Red Tails Racing and Major Taylor Cycling Club are raising funds to help Selma recover from serious tornado damage from 1/12. Even if you can’t attend, please consider helping out by following their link on the calendar.
I am very proud of several folks that have committed to keeping the Grace Ragland 450 mile ride to the beach going. More details will be coming soon. The Tanner Foundation is supporting the 300 mile ride to the beach, which will arrive the day before BikeMS Tour de Beach, which we will also ride in on Saturday and Sunday to complete our 450 mile trip. This will be the 9th consecutive year since Grace did the first one in 2015. Please watch out for more detalis and consider joining us.
